Holiday Booster

My experience about the internship I told you about in the previous post will be a long ride.

First of all, I am an experience seeker. I changed styles, discovering myself and eventually, finding what my passion is and I love to improve myself.
I saw this internship advertisement on @IDstudentjobs. When I was looking for something to do actually hahaha. Then I thought, well I tried to write before and no joking I was very bad at it. But then, why not? I am young and enthusiastic. So then I tried to create a writing sample to them and oh boy a week later I received a call, and so the voice was telling me to have an interview the next week.
I never expect that such opportunity would be here, with me. but then still a very sceptical person as I'll ever be, I don't expect too much from this interview stage. Completing my thought, I was emotionally challenged to be able to double check the fact that.... about 30 people were also having their interviews that day. As for an average people like me, I was just doing my best to answer some questions like, "Don't you love to write?", or "but we're not a fashion magazine here so you'll probably find some differences."
Well, the exact fact is, I don't care if I have to do some works on field (with hot weather and such) because I feel free, and I can see things from different perspectives which I rarely do :)
But then again, it's a glimpse of luck when I was just about to accept the reality that I didn't qualify to be a journalist. I was watching the movie at the cinema just after the interview with some of my best girls and my phone vibrated. The caller said that I should come to another interview the day after. I was like "OK!!" *yeah that excited*.
I think that I was the only person that had 2 interviews. Lucky much? At least my super bad writing sample was selected and I dropped my photoworks on their table after. It was undescribeable. I couldn't red their poker faces while I was being invaded with questions. That went good, but not great.

And I couldn't pinch myself when my friend congratulate me for being accepted. I was like "WHATTT? can you capture my name on the newspaper!!" because I haven't bought it yet.

Today, I finished my internship at Kompas MuDa and feeling super happy. I could get to know some great people and made new friends. So many things that I've learnt along the way. Bad or good, neither of them matters. Because in the end, what I had were much much more important than fighting identity crisis that I used to have few years back. I'm proud to be one of the chosen ones, competing with over 400 applicants and I'm still shocked that I'm here.

Thankyou Lord and thankyou Kompas!! :)
(P.s: will post the photos soon!)

Lookin really weird but that's okay, weirdness is cool :p I finally got the chance to have an internship at Kompas Muda as one of those lucky photographers. AND I AM SUPER EX-CI-TED about it. Remembering the fact that my limited skills and equipments, but I will do my very best!
